Why variety is so important.
In order to get the best results from your training, you need to incorporate a variety of workouts in your training plan. You can’t expect to get better if you run the same route, the same distance and all at the same pace. Although running 4-6 miles at an easy pace is a great recovery workout and helps build your aerobic capacity, you need to include workouts of varying intensities and distances.
In this video I help you better understand different workouts you can include in your plan so you can get the best results from your workouts. These strategies really work. I’ve used them and numerous runners whom I coach have used them to stay in shape prior to running their race.
